ODI11G:Security Navigator

 

1. Security Navigator manages users and their privileges in ODI. 
2. It is used to create profiles and provide rights to users to access ODI objects and features. 
3. This navigator is usually used by security administrators.
4. It is used to assign user rights for methods (edit and delete, for example) on generic objects (data server and data types, for example), and to fine-tune these rights on the object instances (Server 1 and Server 2, for example).
5. The Security Navigator stores this information in a Master repository. 
6. This information can be used by all the other modules.
